Marshall University--Take the Walk

Members of the community will walk a mile barefoot to raise money for those who do not have shoes. Project directors from student government will work with younger youth volunteers.

Shepherd University Potato Project

Shepherd University is partnering with the Shepherdstown, WV Rotary to bring a truckload of over 40,000 pounds of potatoes. Volunteers of all ages will bag potatoes and load trucks. Food pantries from across the state will be there to get their share of the potatoes.

New School Students Study Shelter and Build Picnic Tables for Habitat for Humanity

Shelter is a basic but essential word, meaning a structure protecting one from the elements. For most it means at the minimum four walls and a ceiling but for many it could mean a tent, a car or a cardboard box.
