March for Babies: Eastern AHEC division of the Youth Health Service Corps
The Eastern AHEC division of the Youth Health Service Corps will form a team to support the mission of the March of Dimes (to fight premature birth and birth defects). Students will participate in a pre-service orientation at their school that will educate them on the history and mission of the March of Dimes. Students will then begin their own personal fundraising goals.
On Sunday, April 26, 2009, the YHSC will take a bus to Bluff Point State Park in Groton, CT to participate in March for Babies (formerly WalkAmerica), a 3 mile walk that promotes awareness of the MOD's mission.
